Kindlings terms of service

Last updated: November 8, 2026. These are plain-words terms, not legal advice; they're checked by someone who knows the rules before the public release.

Short version: be kind, don't cheat, and don't try to break Kindlings or anyone's fun. Gems, coins, Glow, Kindlings and everything else in the game are for playing with in Kindlings: they have no money value and can't be cashed out. Purchases and refunds go through Google Play. Kindlings is a helper, not a doctor. If something here is unclear, write to hello@kindlings.app.

Who we are

Kindlings is made by Aonoreii Studio, the developer name of Hunter Bargo, an independent developer in the United States. "We" and "us" here mean him. You can reach us at hello@kindlings.app.

By using Kindlings (the app, the website at kindlings.app and its online features) you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Who can use it

Your account and your things

Friends, chat and trading

When you play or talk with other people, please:

You can block and report anyone. Chat messages are locked so that we can't read them; a report sends us the messages you choose to report. We may warn, limit, or close a profile or account that breaks these rules, and we may remove things it has posted.

Trades happen only inside Kindlings, between friends. Buying, selling or trading Kindlings, items or accounts for real money or anything outside the app isn't allowed.

Play fair

Please don't cheat or break Kindlings: no modifying the app, automating play (other than the app's own Auto play), using bugs on purpose to get rewards, attacking or overloading our server, or making extra accounts to farm rewards or leaderboards. If you find a bug, please tell us instead. We may reset rewards or leaderboard places gained unfairly, and limit or close accounts that keep doing it.

Health, medicine and the Clearing

Kindlings can remind you about medicine, track workouts, food and weight, and offers calm tools like the check-in, journal and breathing. It's a helper, not a medical device, and it doesn't give medical or mental health advice. Reminders can be late or blocked by your phone, so don't rely on Kindlings alone for anything important. Talk to a doctor or other professional about your health.

If you're in danger or thinking about hurting yourself, call your local emergency number, or in the US call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).

Weather and other information

The weather comes from MET Norway, and the moon, sunrise and sunset are worked out on your phone. We do our best, but they can be wrong; don't rely on them for anything where safety matters.
